A Thoughtful Approach to Parenting, Regulation & Inclusion

I work at the intersection of parenting, education, and emotional regulation.

Over the past decade, I’ve taught in swimming pools, facilitated water safety education, studied inclusive pedagogy, and written extensively about how children learn, regulate, and respond to the environments we build around them.

My work is grounded in both research and lived experience — not quick fixes or trending frameworks.

I speak about what happens beneath behaviour, how fear-based tactics shape long-term outcomes, and how small shifts in adult thinking can transform how children experience safety, learning, and connection.
